Hi, I’m Nathalie 👋🏼
Product Designer based in New York City
My passion for UX started in 2017 when I supported one of Bloomberg’s digital products (but I didn’t know it then).
I began to become passionate about user experience during a prior role where I supported clients on product related questions. Eventually, I full-heartedly leaped into the UX field.
Here’s my UX journey timeline:
2018: I joined the UX department at Bloomberg where I managed and created UX standards and guidelines in order to improve the design system.
I completed a 10-week General Assembly course in UX Design, bringing to life my first mobile app design!
2020: I joined Pratt Institute’s Master’s program in Information Experience Design, while still working at Bloomberg full-time.
At Bloomberg, I worked on design projects solo or with other designers and on the design system.
2022: I became an Interaction Designer for Bloomberg’s Buyside products. I helped with a product migration that was used by about 20k users. This included redesigns and new product development.
2023: I moved to the Employee Productivity team to help design CRM tools for Bloomberg’s internal sales team. My focus was with leading the product and engineering teams to alignment and strategic direction of product development.
In both roles, I collaborated closely with product managers and engineers to integrate UX seamlessly into product development. I bridged UX and business needs while advocating for human-focused design.
2024: I stepped away from the corporate world to create a path that felt more aligned with my vision.
I began freelancing to small organizations and businesses both in design and coaching.
Other creative interests were pursued, like writing, teaching yoga, and creating music.
2025: This year, I’ve developed my craft to apply brand design in my offers, creating brand visual identity and website design for clients.
